Course Overview
This comprehensive 9-month program is designed to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to become proficient Flight Operation Officers (FOOs). Participants will undergo extensive training covering various aspects of flight operations, regulations, safety protocols, and communication procedures critical for effective airline operations.

Course Duration: 9 months (36 weeks, 5 sessions per week) – Part-time classes

Price: Ksh 170,000 plus VAT (Flexible 6 month installment plan)

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 1700 Hrs to 1900 Hrs

Overview of the aviation industry and regulatory bodies
Understanding the role and responsibilities of a Flight Operation Officer

Interpretation of weather reports and forecasts

Subject 4: Radio Telephony and Communication
Communication protocols with air traffic control (ATC)
Radio telephony procedures and phraseology

Subject 5: Flight Planning, Mass & Balance and Performance
Techniques for flight route planning and optimization
Aircraft performance calculations and load planning
Calculating takeoff, landing, and en-route performance parameters

Subject 6: Principles of Flight
Understanding aircraft principles, characteristics, and limitations

Subject 7: Operational Procedures
Procedures governing the operation of aircraft

Subject 8: Human Performance
Importance of effective teamwork and communication in aviation operations

Subject 9: Aircraft General knowledge
Understanding aircraft systems, instruments, power plants, and airframes.

Teaching Methodology
Lectures and Workshops: In-depth theoretical sessions conducted by industry experts.

Course Assessment

Attachment: 3 months of job training in the application of learned skills in any Air Operator Certificate holder
